Pootler's Design Team Challenge week 1

Hi everyone this is my first project for the Pootler's design team and I must say I have fallen in love with the stamp set that was chosen for this month. Remarkable you.
I've had so much fun playing around with it.

In today's project I have gone with my favourite colours grey and pink. I'm so happy with the way it's turned out.

For the card base I have used thick whisper white card stock that measures 11 x 4/1.8 inch and scored at 5.1/2 inch, you can get two card bases from one sheet of A4.

For my first layer I have used blushing bride card stock that measures 5.1/4 x 3.7/8.
I used versamark ink and stamped all around the edges with the leaf stamp from the stamp set then I used clear embossing powder and my heat tool to heat set the powder. I think using the clear embossing powder gives real interest to the back ground.

For my second layer I used whisper white cardstock measuring 4.1/2 x 3 inch.
I stamped again with versamark then used silver embossing powder to stamp the flowers and sentiment.

To finish off I used one of our new in colour ink's powder pink and dabbed all over the image with one our stampin up dauber's.

I think by doing this it really finishes the card off beautifully.
I really enjoyed making this card it was so easy to put together hope you follow along and have ago at making one yourself.

Hope you enjoyed today's project as much as I did.
