Pootler's Design Team Challenge week 3

Hi everyone welcome to today's blog. Here we have my no card wasted here gift box.
I made one as a gift a couple off weeks ago and it holds 16 tea lights wrapped in tissue paper.

I love this gift box as its so easy and only involves stamping no DSP so great if you don't have many craft items.

I used a full sheet of  thick whisper white card stock hence the no card wasted here gift box.
I stamped all over it using old olive, Berry burst and powder pink ink.

I chose the water colour pencils this time for the colouring and a blender pen, these pencils are so easy to use, you don't even have to be good at colouring.

You simply colour a bit of your project and let the blender pen do the rest. So pretty.

Score on the short side at 2, 4, 6, 8 inch.
Score on the long side at 2 inch turn 180 degrees and score again at 2 inch

Fold and burnish all the score lines. On the short side cut up the three score lines top and bottom.

For the closure I used our scalloped tag topper punch and punched out the front and back closure flaps and rounded the corners on the other two. Fold in all four flaps at the bottom and glue.

To close the box I used seam binding ribbon and tied it in a bow.

So simple and easy to make I hope you will give it a try.
