Self closing box.

Today's project isn't my own design, I found in on youtube but changed a few things to make it my own, that's the great thing with crafting. The ladies name is Linda Parker..

Hope you enjoy my version and have a go yourself.

Ive made three of this style I just changed the measurements to suit my needs..

Here's how to make it.

I used fresh fig cardstock one of the five new in colours from stampin up cut to 8.1/2" x 6"

Score on the long side at 4", 8"
Score on the short side at 1", 5"
On the long side again score at 2" only down to the first score line. Then at 6" only down to the first score line.
It gets a little tricky to explain in writing as you need to create two triangles going from score mark 2 and 6. I do have a video on the box so you can see exactly how to do the scores.

Click on the youtube link to see the video.

I used our flower shop stamp set for the three flowers and tranquil tide ink.

For the sentiment I used our birthday blossoms stamp set, two layering circle framelits.

I really love this style box as it closes by itself.

A big thank you to Linda for sharing her box that inspired me to have a go..

I hope I've inspired some of you to try it too.

If you would like any of the products I have used please click shop at the top of my blog were you will find everything you need in the stampin up shop.

Thanks for stopping by, happy crafting Danielle xx
